Minneapolis Grounds was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Minneapolis Vikings and San Diego Destroyers.

The Minneapolis Vikings dealt the San Diego Destroyers a 3-2 loss at Minneapolis Grounds. Leo Meza was the star on offense. He was 2-3 with a double. Minneapolis has 3 straight wins, San Diego 3 straight losses.

Minneapolis took a 3-0 lead on Meza's 4th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which he hit off Jeff Boffa in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Minneapolis to the win.

After the game, Minneapolis manager Ace Cooan applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
