Vancouver Loses Again, 5-1
|
Baltimore Kings starter John Kenison found his groove in his team's 5-1 win over the Vancouver Wolves. The last-place Wolves have lost 7 straight games.
The Kings got a big at-bat from left fielder Zero Skouzas. For the game, Skouzas went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Baltimore a 2-0 lead.
"John is pitching with a lot of determination and a lot of fire," said Baltimore manager Brad Carpenter.
