Though he had a great game, Carmine Citti could not single-handedly produce a win for San Diego. Chicago won the game, 3-2. Citti went 4-4 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The winner in relief was Teh-huai Yap. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. He now owns a record of 4-2.
