Extra-Inning Win by Twins Over Toros
|
In a low-scoring game between the Cincinnati Twins and the Tucson Toros, pitcher Bryan Walker was masterful on the mound. The Cincinnati right-hander spearheaded his team's 3-1 win. Cincinnati reliever Stephano Finucene got the win, raising his record to 1-2. Luis Toledo was tagged with the loss. The loss makes Tucson 55-66.
Cincinnati won the game in the bottom of the 12th inning. With no outs and Luis Toledo on the mound for Tucson, left fielder Luis Zuniga hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Twins fans to their feet.
"Bryan had electric stuff," said Cincinnati manager Ryan Stoops.
