The Philadelphia Spectres picked up a win at Sony Field at Philadelphia, defeating the Miami Cyclones, 3-1. Starting pitcher Jeong Lee was an essential part of his team's success. Lee got the win, improving to 11-5. He gave up 7 hits and walked 3 over 6.2 innings. He allowed 1 run. The 4th-place Spectres hiked their record to 54-68.
Vincent Horvers drew 3 walks for Philadelphia. The 23-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring walk off Jeremy Fitch. It was his 41st walk of the season.
"Jeong is a tough competitor," said Philadelphia manager Ryan Huff.
