In a low-scoring affair between the Miami Cyclones and the Philadelphia Spectres, pitcher Bobby Edwards was the difference between victory and defeat. The Miami right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-2 Cyclones win. The triumph puts Miami at 76-45 for the season.

Miami used a timely hit from Cole Roberts Jr. to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Cyclones ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

"There is no easy way to lose when you're doing everything you can to win games," said Philadelphia manager Ryan Huff.
