The Boston Greens picked up a win at Bison Stadium, knocking off the Buffalo Rangers, 4-0. On the mound for Boston was right-hander Steve McFarlen. He played a key role in the triumph. McFarlen picked up the win for Boston, going 6.1 innings. He gave up no runs on 2 hits. He now sports a record of 4-5. The 4th-place Greens go to 48-71.

Boston used a well-timed hit by Sando Torroais to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Greens ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
