The Tucson Toros picked up a win at AT&T Park, downing the Baltimore Kings, 4-3. On the mound for Tucson was right-hander Ryan Lloyd, who played a pivotal role in the win. Tucson reliever Shunsen Maekawa picked up the win, upping his record to 1-2. Rocco Porcaro was saddled with the loss. The second-place Kings dropped to 60-60.
Isaac Butzer had a direct impact on the outcome. Butzer contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the eighth inning to put Tucson up, 4-2.
"Credit where credit is due," said Butzer, "this was a team win."
