Vikings Collect 4-2 Win Over Wolves
The Minneapolis Vikings topped the Vancouver Wolves, 4-2, in 12 innings at Fox-Chong Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Minneapolis pitcher Devon Jenkins. Phil Payne earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record is now 1-0. Minneapolis is now 18-19, Vancouver 12-26.

Tony Pineda had a key at-bat in the top of the 12th. With a runner on 1st, he hit a double. It helped send Minneapolis to the win.

"The other side took advantage in some key situations," said Vancouver manager Matt Libid.
