Cincinnati Twins starter Craig Kruppenbacher turned in a top-notch performance against the Tucson Toros at Cincinnati Grounds. The result was a win for the Twins, 6-1. Antonio Ramires wrapped it up, recording his 13th save. The Twins improved their record to 61-60 by beating Tucson.

Keith Daul had a big 3-run home run for the Twins in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Cincinnati leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he sized up a fastball from 31-year old left-handed pitcher Yaciel Cusido and punished it. The result was his 8th home run of the season, which put the Twins on top, 5-0.

"I managed to get ahead of guys and keep them at bay," said Kruppenbacher.
