Arrows 6-1 Winners Over Montreal
|
At Power Ballpark, the Montreal Harfangs and Seattle Arrows were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
Seattle turned a good performance from starting pitcher Felipe Diaz into a 6-1 triumph over the Montreal Harfangs at Power Ballpark. In 7.1 innings, Diaz surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run.
Mark Chamblin had a big 3-run home run for the Arrows in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Seattle leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a fastball from 32-year old right-handed pitcher Manny Arango and punished it. The result was his 4th home run of the season, which put the Arrows on top, 5-0.
"Felipe doing his thing just hyped us all up," said Seattle manager Dr. Jay Siber.
The 4th-place Arrows have a record of 59-61.
