Kozuch Leads Cyclones to 7-6 Win Over Destroyers
Miami beat San Diego at Seaward Stadium, escaping with a 7-6 win. The win in large part was due to right fielder Todd Kozuch. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Victor Alonzo recorded the save for Miami, his 2nd of the season. The victory puts Miami at 47-71.

Henry McAfee went 1 for 4 with a walk for Miami. The 29-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the ninth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 6-6 tie with a run-scoring walk off Ringo Pineiro. It was his 30th walk of the season.

"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said San Diego manager Steve Alstadt. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
