In a low-scoring contest between the Denver Glaciers and the Miami Cyclones, 29-year old right-handed pitcher Taxi Sabala proved to be the difference. The Denver right-hander earned props for his performance in the 1-0 Glaciers win. Jeremy Lanham closed it out for his 17th save. Denver sits in first place in the Western Conference Eric Wise Division at 76-42.

The Glaciers got a big at-bat from designated hitter Brian Wooten. For the game, Wooten was 1-4 with a home run. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 21st home run of the season gave Denver a 1-0 lead.

"I'm just out there trying to have as much fun as I can while I'm playing," Sabala told the Denver Daily News.
