Behind the hitting of Yendri Stewart, the San Francisco Friars stopped the Minneapolis Vikings, 9-6. Stewart went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for the Friars. Doug Lovelace snagged the win in relief. He goes to 4-5 on the season. Ontario Erie suffered the loss. San Francisco is now 70-49.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Stewart hit a knuckle curve from Shunsen Maekawa for a 3-run home run. The Friars, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"The crowd went nuts," Stewart said.
