Brooklyn Browns starter Keaton Bozek found his groove in his team's 7-2 win over the San Diego Destroyers. The winner was Bozek. He threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was Tom Parmenter. The Browns, at 66-51, sit in second place in the Eastern Conference Antonio Detorres Division.

Brooklyn used a well-timed hit by Chris Bull to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Browns ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"I don't feel you win baseball games by working harder than the other team or 'wanting it more,'" Bull told the Brooklyn Daily News. "You win just by scoring more runs."
