The Twins got a big at-bat from first baseman Willie Flores. For the game, Flores went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 25th double of the season gave Cincinnati a 2-0 lead.

"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Quesada after the game.
