Buffalo and Cincinnati duked it out and the Rangers came out victorious.

Pete Silver had a good game, but he could not keep the Cincinnati Twins from falling, 6-3, to the Buffalo Rangers at Cincinnati Grounds. The Cincinnati right fielder was 4-4 with a double and 3 singles in the loss. The save went to Ricardo Alas, his 3rd this season.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Bejo Ananas? The Buffalo third baseman had a 2-run single in the top of the fifth inning to put the Rangers on top, 4-3. For the game, Ananas had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"It never gets old," said Ananas. "Winning, that is."

The Rangers, at 62-54, sit in second place in the Eastern Conference Benito Cossutta Division.
