The Las Vegas Aces beat the Tucson Toros, 9-6. Las Vegas pitcher and Naju, South Korea, native Tae-sang Shinn led the way. The win makes Las Vegas 58-60.

Had Manichiro Kawasaki not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Kawasaki hit a 2-run single. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Aces.

"I like to lead by example," said Kawasaki. "I'm glad I could contribute to a good win."
