Mayorga Now 11-6 After Beating Browns
|
Wet weather did not postpone the Alaska-Brooklyn ballgame.
Alex Mayorga never let Brooklyn get something going. The Alaska right-hander commanded his curveball in pitching the Kodiaks to a 4-1 win. Andy Miao locked down his 28th save.
Mayorga allowed no runs on 3 hits over 7 innings for the Kodiaks. With the win, he is 11-6 with an ERA of 3.80.
"I was just trying to execute one pitch at a time," said Mayorga.
Alaska improves to 66-52 with the win. They lead their division by 2 games.
