Santiago Dispatched, 2-0, by Seattle
|
Santiago got a valiant performance from pitcher Julius Miller, but it wasn't enough to beat the Seattle Arrows. Seattle won the game, 2-0. Miller threw 8.0 innings of 6-hit ball for the losing team. Seattle reliever Raul Madera picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Julius Miller was saddled with the loss. Garrett Gutierrez collected save number 5.
The Arrows got a big at-bat from left fielder Lucas Pamatz. For the game, Pamatz was 1-4 with a double. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 39th double of the season gave Seattle a 1-0 lead.
"No one player deserves all the credit when you win," Pamatz said. "And the same is true when you lose."
The third-place Arrows are 58-59.
