Vikings Earn Late 8-7 Win
Despite a fine performance by center fielder Gurmu Jemadari, the Miami Cyclones lost to the Minneapolis Vikings, 8-7, in 11 innings. Jemadari went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk. The win belonged to Ontario Erie in relief. His record improves to 4-0. Brenden Jayson took the loss for Miami. Minneapolis now owns a record of 48-68.

The Minneapolis Grounds crowd went wild in the bottom of the seventh when Midori Morikawa, who is tied for 2nd in the WC with a .316 batting average, won the game for Minneapolis with a run-scoring single. Morikawa was 3-5 with a double and 2 singles in the contest.

"To not win that game stings a little bit," said Miami manager Chris Stephan.
