The Vancouver Wolves pinned a convincing loss on the Phoenix Thunderbirds, 9-3, at Fox-Chong Park. Paul Rees was a main factor in the win. He hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 3 for Vancouver. Vancouver pitcher Yasniel Ramirez earned the win, hiking his record to 5-2. Hector Ortiz suffered the loss. Vancouver, at 50-67, holds down last place in the Western Conference Felipe Solorzo Division.
