The Montreal Harfangs got a stellar performance from pitcher Kurt Bozek, who handcuffed the Portland offense en route to a win, 1-0, at Portland Park. The second-place Harfangs now have a win-loss record of 64-49.

The Harfangs got a big at-bat from right fielder Ray Garcia. For the game, Garcia was 1 for 3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. In the top of the first, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 14th home run of the season gave Montreal a 1-0 lead.

"Kurt mixed and matched," said Montreal manager Brendan Henry.
