Greens Rally to Eke Out Win
The Boston Greens picked up a win at Arrington Park, knocking off the San Diego Destroyers, 2-1. On the mound for Boston was right-hander Steve McFarlen, who played a pivotal role in the win. Boston goes to 63-49, San Diego to 40-74.

The Greens relied on catcher Richard Allemand for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the 11th, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

In postgame comments, McFarlen said, "I think we gave the fans their money's worth."
