With 8-3 Win, Dragons Improve to 25-10
Portland Dragons right-hander Stuart Stephenson pitched a good game against the Phoenix Thunderbirds at Legednary Park, leading his team to victory, 8-3. Stephenson went 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 1, and struck out 7. His record improves to 4-0. The Dragons improved to a lofty 25-10.

Portland used the bat of Brick Dickerson to get the win. The second baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Dragons ahead, 4-2. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Greg Carpenter said.
