Vikings Lose, 3-0
|
In a low-scoring game between Chicago and Minneapolis, pitcher John Liberty was excellent. The Chicago right-hander helped his team knock off the Vikings, 3-0. The Phantoms improved to a lofty 81-33.
Chicago used the hitting of Hector Abarca to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Phantoms on top, 2-0. For the game, Abarca had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"When John is in the zone, it's kind of like -- good luck," said Chicago manager Sam J.
