Arrows Drop 4-1 Decision to Browns
|
Enthusiastic fans came out to support the home team at Brown Town.
The Brooklyn Browns beat the Seattle Arrows, 4-1, at Brown Town. Starting pitcher R.J. Mendenhall was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Harold Ruspoli recorded the save for Brooklyn, his 4th of the season.
The Browns got a big at-bat from first baseman Raymilson Bayam. For the game, Bayam was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 13th home run of the season gave Brooklyn a 4-0 lead.
"We missed opportunities once again," said losing manager Dr. Jay Siber.
Brooklyn has won 5 consecutive games.
