New York Downed, 2-0, by Spectres
|
In a tight tilt between the Philadelphia Spectres and the New York Titans, Anton Rochambeau was the deciding factor. The Philadelphia right-hander spearheaded the 2-0 win. Philadelphia reliever Divino Aljeroz was the winner. His record is now 4-2. Nate Yakovlev took the loss. Alberto Zamora recorded the save for Philadelphia, his 26th of the season.
Philadelphia took the lead, 2-0, on Steve Bedoya's 9th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off New York pitcher Nate Yakovlev in the bottom of the eighth.
"It wasn't a very good day at the ballpark," said New York manager Nate Beckman.
Philadelphia has won 4 straight games.
