Avispas Get Thrilling 6-5 Win

Santiago left fielder Paul Rees picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Seattle Arrows, 6-5. Santiago reliever Jeremy Allen picked up the win, raising his record to 2-6. Aaron Narduzzi was tagged with the loss. Santiago is 4th in the Eastern Conference Antonio Detorres Division with a record of 55-57.
The Avispas got a clutch hit from designated hitter Alonzo Armijo. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Avispas.
"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Armijo said.
