Denver beat Montreal on the strength of starting pitcher Taxi Sabala's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. Denver is now 72-40.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Frazer Hurley? The former first round draft pick Hurley stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put Denver up, 4-2. For the game, he was 2 for 4, including 1 double and 1 single.

"Taxi kept them off-balance, threw a great game for us," said Glaciers manager Todd Bleess.
