Senators Come Up Short at Philadelphia, 4-3
|
Bobby Jaramillo pitched well, but the Washington Senators still lost the game, falling 4-3 to the Philadelphia Spectres at Sony Field at Philadelphia. Scott Franczak earned the save for Philadelphia, his 20th of the year. The Spectres now have a record of 55-56.
Philadelphia took a 4-3 lead on Nate Eastick's 18th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Washington pitcher Bobby Jaramillo in the bottom of the seventh.
"This kind of win will certainly make our fans happy," Eastick told the Philadelphia Times.
