Titans Go Down to Defeat, 5-3
The Buffalo Rangers picked up a win at Bison Stadium, knocking off the New York Titans, 5-3. On the mound for Buffalo was right-hander Josh Breaux. He played a key role in the triumph. Pablo Mejia, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 5th save. Buffalo now sports a record of 69-42.

Buffalo took a 4-1 lead on Bejo Ananas's 35th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Ananas hit in the bottom of the eighth, left New York pitcher Ray Menk visibly frustrated.

"Josh's a trooper," said Buffalo manager Alex Beckman. "He always gives it all he's got."
