Cincinnati Drops Another One, 4-3
|
Edwin Bonomi was locked in. The right-hander led the Toronto Juggernauts to a 4-3 win against the Cincinnati Twins at Molson Park. The Juggernauts now own a record of 48-63.
The Juggernauts got a big at-bat from designated hitter Jason Wedel. For the game, Wedel was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Toronto a 4-1 lead.
"Edwin has got a slow heartbeat," said Toronto manager Marc Arnold. "He doesn't panic or anything."
