The Phoenix Thunderbirds racked up a win at Legednary Park, bumping off the Vancouver Wolves, 5-1. Yeniet Miranda, who started for Phoenix, pitched effectively for his team. Miranda got the win, improving to 7-10. He gave up 4 hits and walked 0 over 7 innings. He allowed 1 run.
The fans who came to support the Thunderbirds were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at Legednary Park.
