Wolves Get Plucky, 3-2 Win Over Kodiaks
|
The Vancouver Wolves picked up a win at Fox-Chong Park, knocking off the Alaska Kodiaks, 3-2. Starting pitcher Raul Garibaldi was a big reason why. The win belonged to Bill Lohry in relief. His record improves to 5-2. Filiberto Ciriaco took the loss for Alaska. The last-place Wolves improved to 46-65.
Shi-fu Ta was the walk-off hero for Vancouver. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Wolves center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"Raul was bobbing and weaving the whole game," said Vancouver manager Matt Libid.
