The Buffalo Rangers beat the Cincinnati Twins, 5-4, at Cincinnati Grounds. Emilio Oregon went 1-2 with a double and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs. The three-time All-Star was a menace to Cincinnati all day. Picking up his 1st save was two-time All-Star Johnny Wickwire. Buffalo now has a record of 19-17 with the win.

Buffalo used a well-timed hit by Al Lindberg to capture the win. The right fielder socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the first inning to put the Rangers ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Oregon said.
