Twins 7-5 Losers to Metropolitanos

With Chris Kouri leading the charge, the Havana Metropolitanos defeated the Cincinnati Twins, 7-5. Kouri was 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Metropolitanos. Luis Casillas earned the win. Juan Quesada, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2076 draft, took the loss for Cincinnati. Josh Trejo earned his 31st save in 31 chances.
Havana catcher Andy Gonzales contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two down, he hit a curveball to left field for a run-scoring single. It was his 93rd hit of the season and put the Metropolitanos ahead, 1-0.
"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Kouri said.
The Twins, now 53-58, have lost 4 straight.
