Late Heroics Net Metropolitanos 4-2 Win
|
Havana starter Bobby Jaramillo pitched well against the Cincinnati Twins at Estadio Latinoamericano. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-2, in 10 innings. The first-place Metropolitanos now have a record of 63-45.
The decisive blow was delivered by Andy Gonzales in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a 2-run home run off 25-year old right-handed pitcher Phil Cromsie to win the game for Havana. The home crowd went nuts.
"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Jaramillo said.
