A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Baltimore Kings and Portland (E) Lobster.

The Baltimore Kings called upon starter Adam Simms, and he delivered, leading his team to victory over the Portland (E) Lobster, 5-2. Baltimore is now 18-17, Portland (E) 14-22.

Marcos Galarraga dealt the Lobster a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with the bases loaded and Baltimore leading 1-0, Galarraga, who is tied for 7th in the EC in bases on balls with 21, hit a 1-0 changeup for a run-scoring single.

"I felt good up there," said Galarraga. "I saw the ball well."
