Maine pitcher Vito Pels had a large part in his team beating the New York Titans, 7-3. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Pels yielded 2 runs over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 0, and struck out 5. His record improves to 3-4. Masato Nishihara sewed up the save, his 6th.
