Philadelphia Gets 8-5 Win Against Kings
|
Philadelphia third baseman Walt Vidito contributed significantly to his team's 8-5 win over the Baltimore Kings. Vidito, who finished 3rd in the EC in on-base percentage with .391 in 2074, went 2 for 4 with 4 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Spectres. Earning his 8th save of the year was Fidel Flores. The victory gives the Spectres a record of 19-16.
Alderaan Pike had a key at-bat with one out in the top of the third for Philadelphia. With the bases loaded and the Spectres leading 1-0, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
"I just tried to make good contact," said Vidito.
