The Vancouver Wolves, despite a fine performance by Minneapolis pitcher Alex Mijangos, grabbed a 3-2 win at Fox-Chong Park. Mijangos allowed 1 run over 5.2 innings. The Wolves are now 15-21.

Vancouver got a knockout punch from Jesus Fraio. The right fielder hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"We're a talented bunch when we're playing well," said Fraio. "I think we showed that here."
