Vikings Squeeze Out Win in Pitching Duel
Minneapolis got a strong outing from Josh Hawes as the Vikings defeated the Vancouver Wolves, 1-0, at Minneapolis Grounds. Hawes yielded no runs over 5.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 2, and struck out 6. His record improves to 5-0. The Vikings, at 24-10, have now won 7 straight.
