Friars Collect 6-4 Win Versus Kansas City
|
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the San Francisco Friars and Kansas City Athletics.
In the 6-4 San Francisco win over Kansas City, the impact of Rod Inzunza was substantial. Inzunza, the 27th overall pick in the 2078 draft, was 3-3 with 3 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs. Filiberto Ciriaco, who is tied for 4th in the WC in strikeouts with 44, was the winning pitcher. Over 5.2 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 3 hits, with 4 walks and 7 strikeouts.
