Los Angeles Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Los Angeles Stars knocked off the Las Vegas Aces, 8-7, at Stars Ballpark. Antonio Burquez hit 3 singles and 1 double, while driving in 2 runs. Touta Kubo picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Pierre Prent suffered the loss. With the win, the Stars have a record of 14-19.

Hyuk Park was the walk-off hero for Los Angeles. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Stars designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Stars manager Pat Kaers. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
