Toronto designated hitter Matt Salmon made his presence felt in the 7-3 Juggernauts triumph over the New York Titans. Salmon went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Reliever Jesus Carbajal picked up the win. His record improves to 2-2. Matt Pontius, who is tied for 3rd in the EC in wins with 4, took the loss. Toronto now owns a record of 14-19.

Luis Bracero drove in one run for Toronto. The 29-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Matt Pontius. It was his 3rd RBI of the season.

"We want to make a habit of winning," Bracero said after the game.
