The Miami Cyclones topped the Denver Glaciers, 5-2, at Kroger Stadium. Miami second baseman Storm Kennedy was a spark plug for the offense. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Ivan Fernandez, the winner, improved to 1-3. He held the Glaciers to 2 runs on 4 hits over 6.1 innings, while striking out 9 and walking 1. With the win, the Cyclones sit at 23-12.

Kennedy had a timely hit for Miami in the bottom of the sixth. With Miami trailing 2-0, he turned a 1-2 changeup into a 3-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season, making it 3-2, Miami.
