Montreal Harfangs starter Manny Medina pitched a strong game against the Minneapolis Vikings at Mount Royal Park, leading the Harfangs to victory, 7-5. The Harfangs, at 20-14, have now won 4 straight.

Alfredo Garcia went 1 for 4, while adding 2 RBI for Montreal. The 33-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the second. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a 2-run single off Bertrand Ivory. It was his 10th hit of the season.

"I can't say enough about Manny," said Montreal manager Brendan Henry. "He stepped up when we needed him."
