Diaz Stars in 8-5 Cyclones Win
The 8-5 Miami win over Boston was due largely to Jason Diaz. The Cyclones right fielder went 3-5 with a home run, a triple, and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Picking up the win was Bobby Edwards. He went 6.2 innings, allowing 4 runs on 5 hits. The right--hander struck out 3 and walked 2. Ricardo Riveron closed the door for Miami, picking up his 3rd save of the year.

Early in the game, Diaz had a 2-run home run for Miami. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Cyclones on top, 2-0.

"You start putting runs on the board and winning, everyone's going to get excited," said Diaz.

The loss puts Boston at 0-3.
