Norlander Torches Bulldozers for 5 Hits
|
Rich Norlander found his groove in today's game versus the Gilbert Bulldozers and wrote his name in the league record book. His 5-for-10 performance at the plate unfortunately wasn't enough for the Victoria Seals, as the club lost the game, 6-3.
The 20-year-old second baseman told the press "it was one of those days where everything clicked."
"I made solid contact, and the ball dropped in," Norlander said.
Rich Norlander walked in the 1st, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, singled in the 9th, flied out in the 11th, struck out in the 14th, struck out in the 16th, flied out in the 18th, singled in the 21st and singled in the 23rd.
