Late Rally Earns New York 7-5 Win
Steve Czerw powered the New York Titans to a win over the Cincinnati Twins. The final score was 7-5. The New York designated hitter, who finished 5th in the EC in OPS with .909 in 2077, was phenomenal. He stroked 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Cincinnati, with the loss, is still a robust 3-1.

Czerw had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-0 slider from Hugo Mesinas, he banged a grand slam home run to right, giving the Titans a 7-5 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Czerw.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said New York manager Nate Beckman.
