Win Makes Buffalo 20-12

The Buffalo Rangers and Cincinnati Twins played a tight game with the hosts claiming a hard-fought win.
Jose Nereida, who finished 3rd in the EC in strikeouts with 230 in 2081, was terrific for the Buffalo Rangers in his team's 3-1 triumph over the Cincinnati Twins. His performance earned Nereida rave reviews. Nereida, now 3-1, was the winner. In 8.1 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 3, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. The save was credited to Phillip Dalley, his 2nd.
With scoring opportunities rare, the Rangers had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the fifth, when third baseman Bejo Ananas hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Edwin Vazquez and made the score 3-1, Rangers. Ananas was 1-2 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI.
"It wasn't a very good day at the ballpark," said Cincinnati manager Ryan Stoops.
The loss drops Cincinnati to 17-17.
