Thunderbirds ace Matt Nyholm reeled in his 200th career victory by beating the Brooklyn Browns 9-7 at Brown Town. In his historic win, he notched 6 strikeouts in 6.2 innings, yielded 4 runs and 10 hits, while surrendering no walks.

"I tried to focus on each batter," said Nyholm after the game, "but as the game goes by, I couldn't help but think about the possibility. 200 is a big number. It's an exclusive club and I'm honored to be a member."

Nyholm has chalked up a lifetime ERA of 3.48 with 200 victories and 138 defeats. He has totaled 2222 career strikeouts in 3001.1 innings while holding opponents to a .248 batting average.
